Present tenses

As I say above that there are three tenses actually. But each has four branches. In this present tense we will have simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. My explanation will be begun from simple present.

Remember that here we only learn about the form not function!!!

Simple present tense
Before explaining this tense we must know first how to arrange the sentence well. In my country, Indonesia, we use Subject, Predicate (like verb), and Object. Bu t in English we know that as Subject, Verb, and Object. To understand that, see the examples below.
S                                  V                                       O
I                              study                               English

Subject means the doer. Verb is something to do. Object is the

Well, after knowing that we must also know that there are four kinds of sentence. There are positive, negative, interrogative, and exclamation. But here we just learn about positive, like the sentence above, negative, and interrogative.
To know more, learn the sentence below.
            S                              V                               O
+          I                           study                     English
-           I       do not         study                     English
?    Do  I                           study                     English?

See. If you want to make negative sentence you just need to put not and do/does. And if you want to make an interrogative sentence you just pull do/does in front of the sentence than put question mark in the end.

            S                               V                             O
+         He                         studies                  English
-          He    does not       study                    English
? Does He                         study                    English?
